METASKILLS4TCLF is a European project that explores the transversal and future-oriented skills required for the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear (TCLF) industries to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. As digitalisation, sustainability and new business models reshape the sector, the project identifies the meta-skills—such as adaptability, critical thinking, collaboration and problem-solving—that complement technical expertise and support lifelong learning.

Working closely with industry, education and research partners, METASKILLS4TCLF develops practical frameworks and recommendations to help integrate these competencies into vocational education, higher education and workplace training. The project contributes to building a resilient, innovative and future-ready TCLF workforce capable of meeting emerging labour market demands.
