EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform

The EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform is a collaborative digital hub established under the European Commission’s Transition Pathway for the Textiles Ecosystem. It brings together stakeholders from across the textile value chain to support the sector’s green, digital and social transition through collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation.

The platform connects businesses, industry associations, education and training providers, research organisations, policymakers and social partners, providing access to European initiatives, funding opportunities, projects, events, publications and best practices. By fostering dialogue and cooperation, it helps strengthen the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of the European textile ecosystem.

The TCLF Skills Alliance contributes to the platform by promoting skills development, lifelong learning and workforce transformation across the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear (TCLF) sectors. As EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform Ambassadors, EURATEX, CEC (European Confederation of the Footwear Industry) and COTANCE (Confederation of National Associations of Tanners and Dressers of the European Community) play a key role in engaging stakeholders, sharing knowledge and supporting the implementation of the Transition Pathway. Through their ambassador role, they help ensure that the priorities of the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries are reflected in European collaboration and that organisations across the ecosystem can actively contribute to shaping the sector’s future.
